About GardenMob
GardenMob debuts a new modular garden concept, to take gardens where no gardens have gone before, onto rooftops, balconies, rentals, and other traditionally underused and under-enjoyed outdoor spaces.
This garden features the collection from the designer's own studio in San Mateo. After the garden show, the pieces will return to her studio where she holds lectures and workshops about modular gardens and their practical, affordable applications.
The team is committed to making the benefits of gardens available to everyone, everywhere. Benefits of gardens include a soothing place of respite, renewal, and revitalization, to renew the spirit. In line with that vision, we have made it our mission to seek out alternatives to traditional, costly, permanent construction and making landscapes more accessible by offering simple, easy, affordable outdoor space solutions.
The team has a strong, abiding committment to sustainability. The concept of modular landscaping from reclaimed materials reduces pillaging of natural resources, diverts valuable resources from the waste stream into reuse, and elevates the materials by "upcycling" them into beautiful works of art. Modularity reduces waste by being produced efficiently off-site, and reduces or completely eliminates hassle and costs of permits and engineering requirements. Modularity makes beautiful gardens accessible to more people and more spaces.
